The Living with Power Bible Reading Plan offers special features that will help you in your journey through the Bible.

  • By reading through one book of the Bible at a time you will be better able to focus on God’s word in an age of extreme distraction.
  • You can begin at any point during the year.
  • By the end of the year, you will have read through the Bible once and the Psalms twice. Use the Psalms as a place to pause and worship God.
  • One of the greatest weaknesses in the western Church is our inability to practice the Sabbath rest. To that end, we have built in Sundays as days of rest where you will be encouraged to practice a time of reflection and rest in God.
  • If reading through the Bible in one year is too overwhelming for you this year, consider altering the plan to meet your needs. For example, you can read through the New Testament this year, or spread out the plan over two years.

The LWP Bible Reading Plan also suggests questions to ask as you read the text, as well as Sabbath activities.

In the year ahead, ask God to speak directly to you from His word. Expect Him to show up.  And don’t give up. God is pursuing you with His love. Just think about how much more of God you could experience in your life as you make more time for God in your life!
