Difficult Conversations: Christians and Racism

I love using this space to encourage you, to remind you of God - who He is and how much He loves you, and when i can, to challenge you.

Today I want to challenge you.

I'm asking you to take some time and listen and process this difficult conversation that I recently had with my friend Latoya Gray on Christians and racism.

Latoya is a dear friend of mine. She is a godly woman and a leader in her mostly white megachurch.

Most importantly, she loves Jesus.

I know this conversation will stretch your schedule a bit - I tend to be long winded and true to form here. And i know this conversation will stretch you spiritually and emotionally too - that's a good thing!

But I am prayerfully believing that God will use this difficult conversation to help us love one another better.

Isn't that what Jesus called us to after all? To love one another even when it's inconvenient, messy, and hard.

If you've followed my podcast in the past, you might have noticed that I haven't posted any new material in the last few months so this series is a welcome back.

In the coming weeks we'll be tackling many more difficult conversations.

I hope you enjoy this ride and I welcome any ideas for topics, questions, and comments you might have.

Here's the link to the podcast that is available on Video thanks to my nephew Ben who made it possible!
